It was a normal day in the Water Nation, despite all of the hubbub in the outside world, people went along their business like nothing happened.
"Sis, did somebody really steal the demons blood the outside world found?" Said a young boy, he was not even in his teen years yet, but he had a warrior look to him.
"Yes, Marcus" Answered his sister, a young woman of early teen years. They were both apprentices to a knight of great power, a paladin. It was their dream to become paladins themselves, Marcus always dreamed about becoming a master swordsman and thought that the life of a knight would be one of great adventure, one that he would enjoy.
His sister, Meriah, was in it for more humble reasons, she desired the ability to protect. She always wanted to become stronger so that she could stop all the evil she saw, it was a trait that everyone else admired. But if ever she became center of attention, she would quickly disappear, she did not want any useless pride-stroking, she did not need such things...
"So, I heard you had your first combat simulation." Marcus said
"Oh... it really was not all that, we just had a small tangle with practice swords." Meriah replied, trying to not make a big deal of it.
"How did you do?" Marcus asked
"We won..." Meriah replied.
"Stop talking like you are depressed about it, you are in a position that a lot of people would want. But you have it, at least be thankful." Marcus said, his tone had an unusual sageness to it.
"I guess you are right, I just... do not want to end up seeming high above my peers, I want to be with them" Meriah said
"And that is why you are so great, now get moving. Sensei gave me some of his change and told me to help you celebrate." Marcus said.
"Wow... really? Thats great!!- I mean, I'll have to give him my thanks later..." Meriah replied.
"You are waaayyy to stiff sis, but oh well, last one to the candy store is a rotten egg!" Marcus said, and with that the duo ran off.

A hero is not judged by what he does in the light, but what he does when the light is gone.

Mess not with Houndooms, for you are crunchy and taste good dipped in chocolate.
I survived the Porygon Episode. If you watched the episode and did not get a seizure, post this in your signature.

Morality is not a matter of opinion... it is a matter of nature. Good and evil are forces beyond humanity, defined at the core of creation. Only a monster betrays this truth.
